RIP Mamba

Just terrible fucking news today. We’ve lost one of the all time greats and I am just terribly bummed out.

Makes me feel slightly better

When I was a kid I HATED Kobe. I was an MJ disciple through and through and would get legitimately pissed if anyone even mentioned another player’s name in the same breath as Jordan. Kobe was the name that came up a lot when I was in middle school and holy shit did I start a few jihad holy wars in the lunch room.

Respect the dick move

As a kid I hated his fucking guts, but as I grew older, I found myself learning to respect, embrace, and dare I say love him for being such a hyper competitive asshole.

Terribly sad to hear that his daughter was also with him. I was really looking forward to having cranky ass old man Kobe shitting on young punks and cornball ass Lebron for the next few decades.

Maybe not the GOAT at hoops, but definitely in the stone cold assassin motherfucker department.
